Join us for an evening of poetry, spoken word, storytelling, music, and meaningful conversation at ConversationStarters Bookstore’s Open Mic Night. This community-centered event creates space for authentic voices, powerful stories, and creative expression because every story matters.
Featured author Marcia Blane, LPC, CPCS, CHt, CCTS will share selections and insights from her book, No, Nawl!, Hell Nawl! — A Guide to Setting Boundaries, Protecting Your Peace & Choosing You, Without Apology. Through her signature blend of honesty, healing, and empowerment, Marcia will explore what it means to reclaim your power, protect your peace, and choose yourself without guilt or apology.
The evening will be hosted by poet, spoken-word artist, and storyteller Precious Jones, bringing together established and emerging voices on one stage for an experience centered on connection, creativity, and community.
